133/365 Our Baby Ladybugs

We finally got our ladybug larva in the mail today. They are so tiny! Last year we raised butterflies, so now we are going to do ladybugs. Anyone who has never done the butterflies, you must do it! It was so neat to watch the caterpillars make their cocoons and then we got to watch all 5 of our beautiful butterflies hatch. It was the neatest experience! I haven't read much on ladybugs yet, so I am hoping they will be as fun.

Years ago my boys and I raised tadpoles and current B and I are watching the progress of the butterflies. I was thinking of getting the ladybugs, I'll have to see how it goes for you first.

Ugh. who needs to order lady bug larvae? They are EVERY where here. You should have asked, I would have sent them your way ;) Enjoy!

What a fun idea! My nephew is a nature nut... He would love watching the cycle.

How neat! We raised a bunch of Monarch butterflies last year. Loved it! We plan to do so again this year. Looking forward to seeing how you do with the ladybugs!
