18/365 - ME

f/1.8  1/125sec ISO 400 Clean Edit & Sweet Sunshine in the Florabella Luxe Collection just to brighten the picture up a bit.

My 1st self portrait. I am usually not one to step in front of the camera, but a goal of mine for this year is, instead of constantly picking out flaws and deleting pictures of myself, I am going to embrace getting in front of the camera, because I owe it to my kids. They will love having pictures of their Mama when they get older.

I think you look great! Your kids WILL love this pic- you know it. And again you've inspired me. I'm giving myself one week to get a self portrait up for my 365. . .nice to 'meet' you!

Beautiful photo of yourself, I totally agree with getting in front of my camera. Don't you love the Florabella Luxe collection. I love sweet sunshine and amborsia is the other one I use a lot too. :)

What a pretty lady you are. Love your eyes. you are right... I avoided the camera for so many years...I feel so bad about it now. i always thought I'd look better after losing weight, and a dozen other things .... that was silly. I looked far better ten than I do now! ha ha Believe me, keep taking those self portraits or shots with the children and your husband while you are young and cute!!!

I have only recently started getting in front of the camera. It's the horror I thought it would be. Actually, the other day I was taking photos of me with my puppies and I had a blast. I was laughing so hard and loud, my husband ran in to see what was going on.
Nice to see you!

You inspire me! I'm trying to get more comfy with it. But yesterday when Will decided to lay on my face during my self-portrait, I couldn't have been more excited :)

You did great! I can never figure out where to look when I take these types of SP's and usually end up looking like a crazy person.

Beautiful photo! I'm exactly like you: I hate photos of myself, and I've tossed every single self-portrait I've tried. So this past year, I decided to stop picking on me and get over it already and realize that this is me!
